Joey has the answer to everything
I thought this was so funny I just had to share it.
I woke up today with a very badly plugged duct (or several). I am in a lot of pain, Maggie won't nurse on that side, and pumping has been completely useless. I was complaining to Joe about the clog, and of course Joey heard the discussion. He threw his opinion out there.
Joey: Mommy, I know why you have a clog.
Me: You do. Why?
Joey: It was all that moving around at motor skills [Kindergarten PE] this morning.
Me: How would that produce a clog?
Joey: All that movement turned your milk into butter.

Hi Everyone,
Thought I'd check with you all first. We are going to get rid of our Sit and Stand double stroller. If you know of anyone who might be in need of one at your preschools let me know. I am planning to post on Craig's List otherwise.
Hope you're all well,
Cathy

Not sure if any of you still have strollers, but just in case...
Breaking news: Maclaren plans to recall 1 million strollers---all its production between 1999 and 2009---after receiving 12 reports of hinges on the stroller that amputated children's fingertips. The company will send out a cover for the hinges to all owners.
The CPSC and Maclaren will issue a press release in the recall this Tuesday; Maclaren began notifying its dealers of the recall in the past couple of days.
Here is the take-home message until the recall is official:
• Stop using all Maclaren strollers right now---yes, every model made since 1999.
• When the recall goes public on Tuesday, order a hinge cover from Maclaren's web site or phone line. (Note: the web site is not live yet as of this writing).
• Wait until you install the hinge cover before using the stroller again.
We will blogging updates on this recall as they develop this week. Click here to read updates:

Hi everyone,
Today from 2-8 and all day tomorrow (7:30-4) the SF Day school is having its annual library party/sale. If anyone is interested or wants to do some early holiday shopping, come on by. The school is located on the corner of Golden Gate & Masonic. Go in the Golden Gate entrance, go up the stairs and the gym will be on your right.

Hi Everyone,
I hope you're all enjoying this beautiful day. Thought I'd check with all of you first. Turns I accidentally left Jonah's little Radio Flyer four wheel bike outside yesterday. I discovered this today when we went to go play with it. Jonah just kept saying, "Jonah bike, Jonah bike." So sad. And I'm so mad at myself. Sigh.
If anyone has something like this they want to get rid of let me know. He's way too small for our trikes at this point.
Thanks!
Cathy

Arlene's dinner -- part 2
It looks as though dinner on Oct. 18 works best.
I called Elephant Bar (Serramonte), and they can only accommodate us at 5 pm or 9 pm on that night. We either could go with 5 pm -- or go elsewhere, such as Boulevard in Daly City. They can fit us in at 7:30 pm on the 18th.
Also, if you haven't done so already, please let me know if you would like to join us.
Thanks.
